What does Rug Munch Media build?

Open-source AI + Web3 infrastructure for retail crypto investors. The flagship is Rug Munch Intelligence — token risk scoring, wallet forensics, and a crypto-native AI agent with 70+ security engines across 16 chains. Around it: DegenFeed (multi-protocol social), PryScraper (self-hosted scraping), WalletPress (55-chain wallet engine), RugMunchBot (Telegram), and the x402 payment rails that let AI agents pay for API calls in USDC.

Which products are live right now?

Rug Munch Intelligence (rugmunch.io), PryScraper (pryscraper.com), and RugMunchBot (@rugmunchbot) are live — RMI and PryScraper are in final production polish ahead of official launch. DegenFeed (degenfeed.xyz) and WalletPress (walletpress.cc) run in early access today; their full launches follow. The RMI MCP x402 server (mcp.rugmunch.io) is live. Honest status for everything: products page and the docs.

What is the security-engine catalog?

The x402 tool catalog exposed by the RMI backend: 70+ security, intelligence, and market-data engines (342 paid, every tool includes free trial calls). Scanners, forensics, wallet intelligence, RAG queries, MCP-native. Full reference: API overview and MCP tools.

What chains and networks do you cover?

16 chains indexed in production — 14 EVM chains plus Solana and Tron — via our own LiteChainIndexer on free public RPCs (359M+ rows). WalletPress derives addresses across 55 chains with BIP39/BIP44. Details: indexer docs and chain matrix.

Is there a Telegram bot?

Yes — @rugmunchbot puts the RMI stack in chat: 40+ commands including /scan, /wallet, /dd, and /ask. Command reference: docs.

02Pricing & x402

Is it free?

The core scanner at rugmunch.io is free. Every x402 tool includes free trial calls. Self-hosting any product is free forever — the code is MIT/AGPL-licensed. Premium tiers and pay-per-call exist for heavy API usage, never for basic protection.

What is x402?

x402 is an open payment protocol that settles API calls in USDC over HTTP — no accounts, no API keys, no KYC. Our MCP server (rmi-mcp-x402) lets AI agents pay per call, and x402 Coffer is the self-hosted facilitator that settles payments. It's how AI agents buy intelligence machine-to-machine.

How do premium subscriptions work?

RugMunchBot premium tiers are paid via Telegram Stars. API-heavy usage settles per call in USDC via x402. There are no hidden fees, no lock-in, and the free tier stays free — that's the deal.

03$RMI Token

What is $RMI?

$RMI is the governance token for the Rug Munch Media stack, launched with a committed 1:1 airdrop to every $CRM v1 and $cryptorugmunch holder after the v1 collapse. The full, receipted story is on the $RMI page — including the ~$12k we lost going down with the ship rather than playing ball with manipulators.

Is $RMI an investment?

No. $RMI is a governance token for a product stack that already exists and ships code daily. Nothing on this site is financial advice. See the terms and legal pages.

What is the end state?

A Wyoming DAO LLC with true community governance. The tools stay free, the code stays open, the mission stays the same: protect retail. Roadmap and commitments: $RMI token page.

04Security & Privacy

How do I report a vulnerability?

Email disclosure per our security policy. We run gitleaks, semgrep, bandit, Trivy, and OSSF Scorecard in CI across every repo, and we publish our operations security doc publicly.

Do you custody funds or keys?

Never. WalletPress is a self-hosted engine — BIP39 derivation and AES-256 vaulting happen on your infrastructure. We never see, store, or transmit private keys. Same for the scanner: it reads public on-chain data. See WalletPress security.

What data do you collect?

The corporate site collects nothing — no analytics, no cookies, no trackers. Product-side data handling is documented per product. Full details: privacy policy.

05Self-hosting & Open Source

Can I self-host everything?

Yes — that's the point. Every product ships with Docker and from-source install docs, a production checklist, and an upgrade path. Start at the self-hosting guide. PryScraper is one docker run; the rest are equally direct.

Where does the code live?

Primary on our self-hosted Forgejo, mirrored to GitLab, Codeberg, and Radicle P2P. No single point of failure — the code survives any platform.

What license is the code under?

MIT and AGPL-3.0 depending on the repo — each repository states its license. Docs are MIT. You can audit, fork, and self-host anything we ship.

Can I contribute?

Yes. Contribution guides live in every product's docs section (e.g. RMI contributing). PRs go through the same CI gates as ours: lint, types, secret scanning, link checking.

06Company

Who is Rug Munch Media?

A Wyoming LLC, self-funded, no VC, no insiders, no KOLs. Founded by the scam-caller who spent 2022–2024 exposing rug pulls with on-chain receipts, then taught himself to code and built the tools instead of just talking about them. The full story: Our Story.

How do you make money?

Premium API usage (x402 pay-per-call in USDC), RugMunchBot premium tiers via Telegram Stars, and hosted convenience on top of free self-hosted products. No token presale, no VC round, no paid shilling — revenue comes from the software.

How do I get in touch?

Telegram is the fastest: community. Also on X, Bluesky, and Farcaster. Partnership inquiries: partnerships page.

Where are the docs?

docs.cryptorugmunch.com — single source of truth. Every product gets the same standard: intro, installation, architecture, API reference, deployment, contributing. If a section isn't ready, the docs say so.

Still curious?

The docs go deep on every product — architecture, API reference, deployment, contributing.
